Osman Ocalan, on behalf of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) v Council of the European Union (European Court of Justice)
The case concerned the annulment of a 2002 decision by the Council of the EU regarding the blacklisting of the PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party) as a terrorist organization and the freezing of its assets (Decision 2002/460/EC) - citing that the Council had failed adequately to inform the PKK in advance of the decision, as it was required to do under its duty to give reasons.
Philip Moser represented Osman Ocalan, on behalf of the Kurdistan Workers' Party.
